Digital Realty has been advised by our utility provider, NRM Netzdienste Rhein-Main, that their upstream transmission system operator, TenneT TSO, will be carrying out extensive routine maintenance and infrastructure renewal activities on the high-voltage transmission network during the following periods:
Maintenance Windows 04 October 2026 – 11 October 2026 - Daily between 07:00 and 18:00 CET 19 December 2026 - Between 07:00 and 18:00 CET
The utility providers have confirmed that these works are part of their ongoing network reliability program and are not expected to impact the power capacity available to our facilities. According to the information provided, the involved network operators have coordinated their activities to minimize risk, and disturbances to the regional power network are considered highly unlikely. At the same time, as with any large-scale utility maintenance activity, the statistical risk of a power-related event is elevated compared to normal operating conditions.
The affected utility supply areas include the substations supplying DLR Campus Digitalpark Ostend (FRA1-FRA16) DLR Campus Digitalpark Fechenheim (FRA17, FRA18, FRA27)
Please note that these activities are being performed by external utility providers. Digital Realty has no ability to influence the scope, timing, or scheduling of these works and has been informed of them as part of the utility provider's standard customer notification process.
In preparation for these maintenance activities, Digital Realty has completed a review of all applicable site operational procedures and contingency measures. All critical electrical infrastructure, monitoring processes, escalation paths, and emergency response procedures have been checked and remain in place and available throughout the maintenance windows. Critical works will be suspended, and the fuel suppliers have been contacted to raise awareness. Our site operations teams will maintain heightened awareness during the affected periods and will respond in accordance with established operational protocols should any utility-related issue arise.
At this time, no customer action is required. Digital Realty will continue to monitor the situation closely.
